We are from Japan. Japanese men are not kind or gentle, I think they are very mean. We prefer English men...that's why we go for foreign men because they are much kinder than Japanese men, and are good looking!

I have been to Japan and to stereo type japanese male as being mean in general is stereotyping of the worst kind. Excluding the cultural differences and expectations in a marriage, japanese men are neither meaner or nicer than American men. In America there are countless men who are nice and countless who are mean to women. It depends on the individual. Clearly in every country ther are women who have prefer taste and buy into the stereotype. Americans are not the only people in the world who have stereotypes.

I'm American, but grew up in Japan. I think that Japanese guys are not only the sweetest, but also the sexiest guys out there. Japanese women expect to get married, quit their jobs and have the guy support them, have babies and once they have kids never have sex with the the poor guys again. My friend hasn't had sex with his wife in eight years. This is a huge problem in international marriages. Almost all of my boyfriends have been Japanese. On the way back to the US recently, I sat next to an executive of a major Japanese company who told me that he ranks below the dog on his wife's list of importance. If lots of Japanese women think this way, and surveys show that they do, no wonder these girls think Japanese men are mean. Most people would be if they continued to have to continuously give and never get anything back in return. Give me a Japanese guy over a Western guy any time though. They're the best!!

I would disagree, to be honest. If anything, the majority of Western - Japanese relationships are not even based on "love" but basically on sex only. It's a physical thing. Want to explore "the foreign fruits", so to speak. However, statistically, it is proven that Western/Japanese marriages failing are very high, something like 80%, with usually the Japanese spouse returning to Japan with the kid and remarrying into a Japanese family. And the majority of Japanese/Western marriages are between Japanese men and Western women. Now that is the truth. Really, shouldn't really too much into what these girls say.

Obviously, the Japanese girls interviewed here, are grouping an entire race of persons, whether it be "Japanese men" or "Western men," denoting their qualities and features as need be. Not only are they prejudice and shallow; I would be surprised if they actually left the country to interact with "Western men" outside of Japan, namely, "Western men" in America or any other "Western" country.

Obviously, these cheerful women are basing there opinion on their experiences. It is possible they not the most attractive specimens in their country. They appear to be both overweight also. They are suffering from being neglected because of their appearance. All over the world, not just Japan, people are treated better if they are more attractive. I guess it ia a form of prejudice in human behavior. The foreigners may appeal to them because they are different. In Japan, all they see are asians. I am an asian man ,born in Canada.

well.i would say.where ever you go you bring your attitude with you..so..and about japanese women,as long as you're white and tall whether you're kind or mean japanese girls will still love you.iam talking by friends experience..so..they only stereotype and are obsessed..shame for them because there so many nice people from different race..as we say..as you make you're bed you shall sleep..so..thinking that only japanese men are mean..is a reallybad thought..i guess they're too young...
