I'm part of the local community watch in my area. We go round and clean up graffiti...it does upset people in our local area. There are a lot of old people in the area and it can be really threatening to them..The graffiti problem has been getting much much worse in the last couple of years...tags are ruining our local community at the moment, it's something that really upsets me and something we need to do a lot about.

haha i didnt say anything about it being superior, simply that new modern ways of design are being explored, fuck we dont live in caves anymore do we? no becuse we evolved, our design evolved and graffiti is modern design. listen its not like because im a writer i dont listen or take in my education, i passed every gcse i took and now im working with some great architects and companies, and its all because of my skills as an artist. just because graffiti appears illegally means nothing its art, and beleive me im hapy for you and your villa, i want that someday too. but i dont think its fair to put us graffiti artists down, saying things that dont really make sence. the being dumb thing for example. i listened in school im doing great in college but i am a writer. one day our design will shape society, wehter illegally or not. you dont judge someone for how they choose to express themselves. me, im 16 and i have a talent, a talent which was born on the streets. a talent which will 1 day get me a villa in spain. im sorry that you think the way you do and have such narrow minded views. but i dont thnk its right for you to judge us, to say were all poor, dunb criminals, because were not.

Tagging and graffiti are two different terms. Tagging is when someone writes their name and represent themselves or their hood/crue/click to gain fame on the streets. They are practically a bunch of letters. Graffiti on the other hand is just I think another form of art. It incorporates lines, shapes, color, creativity and uniqueness. The only thing about it is that people dont see the creativity and design and work that is put into making one. It takes much skill and oiginality to make one. If people just stop asuming that graffiti is like tagging, people would start accepting graffiti as an art and not a crime. I guess all type of art at one point was considered outrageous but it's art. Yeah i agree that our streets in every community around the globe are getting messed up by gangs and tagging crews etc but the art is another thing. There are a bunch of companies and businesses that hire professional graffiti artist to design their art on the side of their wall or for their advertisements etc. Graffiti is part of the teenage culture. It's part of the music the movies etc and no one seems to realize that it's part of the culture.

Local graffiti writer writes his retort: Thus, I am amazed on the bewildered confusion of graffiti and tagging. But such little time I have to explain. Please take a bit of time to understand the graffiti culture history, before you can be able to be effective at weeding out the "bad" graffiti, with the "good" one. Without such knowledge put to good use, I am confident that you will not get to far in this situation. Local graffiti writer Pivot, thus finishing off with one last word. Graffiti is vandalism, but we have nothing better to do. Please be productive and visit a website such as www.bombingscience.com and learn a bit about the history. Thank you.

Maybe you should be more worried about things like YOUR TERRORIST GOVERNMENT INVADING AND OCCUPYING other sovereign nations or perhaps the gross inequality of wealth distribution amongst the global community or perhaps wrap that all up into working class struggle... maybe when you solve those fundamental to the human race kind of problems you can tackle the graffiti, idiot.
