There's enough people out there, deceived by postmodernist hogwash and rootlessness, who dismiss folk music as some exercise in nostalgia. It's good to hear a fresh and frankly passionate response like this. Folk isn't "white" music, it isn't "black" music - it's people's music and we should all be able to share in what it offers: values, progressive politics, solidarity, heart and soul. Bravo!
