Labour MP Gordon Prentice has urged Gordon Brown to resign, due to the Prime Minister's apparent lack of communication and persuasion skills. But should Brown step down? Is it time for a change in leadership?

Get rid of him before he sells any more of our gold reserves, we should be burning the guy at the stake for his part in manufacturing the pathetic state of the UK economy. Yes global economics plays the biggest part but internal monetary policy decisions have left the UK on the precipice the most devastating recession this country will have ever seen.

Just the shear level of cynicism is overwhelming. It seems that without ideology to inform opinions on politicians people just assume they're all shits.

Why do the british people have to bail out nothern rock as far as i'm aware america is not a part of the European union it's not a member state if it gets into any problems it's on it's own with it's economic affairs.

When Gordon Brown got into office he said that we have paid the nation debt of that we owed america i wonder how much we are in debt with them now with the markets the way they are i find it funny that all this happens after we owe them nothing as it started with their markets first.And i bet we owe them and they will owe nothing
