In the Quran, one can't leave the bounds of the earth without being attacked by stars in the lower heaven (earth's atmosphere) unless given authority by Allah. Yet, god-less cosmonauts made it out into orbit without being attacked by stars guarding heaven. Also, in the Quran, the sun not only swims in an orbit, runs to a resting place, sets in a murkey spring, but, according to the Hadith's Sahih Bukhari, has to then ask permission of Allah to rise again. I'm hoping all that is metaphoric, for this same Sahih Bukhari also says that the day will come where Jews will rise up to attack Muslims, yet, they will fail and be successfully counter-attacked to the point where a rock will tell the Muslim that a Jew hides behind it. Again, is this alienating part of Islam that forms an "Us Vs Them" mentality between Jew and Muslim, just metaphoric like the part about astronaut attacking stars in the lower heaven, earth's atmosphere? Let us know, Muslim viewers, I'm hoping it's just metaphoric.
