Newly signed UK indie band International One have been invited by Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Bloody Sunday author/film producer Don Mullan to write a song to celebrate the 90th birthday of Nelson Mandela. Archbishop Tutu was so pleased that an entirely new generation of musicians, who recognise the power of music and song to be a catalyst for good” accepted his invitation. The single has been produced by Dan Swift and the promotional video has been directed by Spielberg's protégé Phil Hawkins The video has an interesting reveal that enforces a message about HIV/AIDS that challenges the audience, whilst remaining a beautifully modern music video. The single is available to download from all major download sites from Friday 18th July (Nelson Mandela's actual 90th Birthday) with all proceeds going to 46664 charity. www.internationalone.co.uk/inyaniso.asp
