As usual, Roger Helmer tells it like it is. I only wish the media would give him more air-time and column space! ...but that is a big part of the problem - they appear blind to EU activities and objectives.

Oops! That skewed the agree/ disagree figures. I was agreeing with Roger Helmer's video comment not with Denis MacShane! Take care if you view Roger's video and enter comments on the associated page.As for Denis' comments: can he not see that the EU is a deeply undemocratic collection of institutions that ultimately will destroy the freedom that we have enjoyed in western Europe.

Denis MacShane meant to say that we mustn't derail his gravy train. This man is wholly for an undemocratic federal superstate run by an elite. I, for one, find his propaganda on a par with Lord Haw Haw. He is a traitor guilty of selling the people of the UK out for self-interest.He is beyond contempt.

Europe may have been poor when under the heel of Hitler or Stalin, but these countries now free from that, can now become educated in their own right to enrich themselves.It is not right that the wealthier British should be forced as they are, under the heel of the EU, to spread their wealth through financial largese to them, by free immigration at a cost of UK jobs, UK Pensions, struggling public services, increased taxes by stealth, doubling Council Taxes, and a seriously deteriorating national infrastructure. This has become the real cost on top of our net payment to the EU and it is the poor and Middle Classes together who are feeling the pinch - AND YOU KNOW IT !!
