Its a bit of a cliche to call him a drugs cheat, but that is whats happening... More interesting should be the reaction from the general public to his return. Should we welcome him back, almost congratulating him on his rehabilitation? Or should we harrass him because of his murky past? Surely, forgiving his past and congratulating him is the way we should approach this one? Comments please people!

I duno if it's about the message to the kids - coz if i understand correctly he can't play in the olympics, so in a way the idea of him playing at all is just a loophole in the system. finding these loopholes and using them is typical of the lawyer driven, no individual-thought nation we appear to reside in.

Chambers should never be allowed to wear an England vest again. He has forfeited his right to represent his country by choosing to take drugs in order to enhance his performance. In the process he brought shame to the sport and his team mates who had their relay medal taken away. I was at Sheffield last Sunday and was one of the many people there who did not applaud him or stay to watch his award presentation. We did not boo him because most athletics fans have dignity and self respect, two virtues which are sadly lacking in Chambers.
