My name is Matt O'Connor and I'm the founder of Fathers 4 Justice, possibly the most controversial pressure group of modern times. I want to hear about what you think about us and what we do... there are serious issues behind everything we do. We just need you to realise what they are.

Matt. lets be honest it, there is only one way to get a result for F4J and Fathers world wide. we could all go on for years singing the same tune, but still there will be heart broken fathers and heart broken Children. The only way to bring justice to fathers is to make the mothers last resort and un challanged action of "parental alienation". unless we make this act of child abuse a crime. Then we all will fail and achive MOTHING.Near enough EVERY father i speak to has given up because of it. its the route of the evil in the courts. And i think any fathers rights activist from F4J to FNF are guilty of pussy footing around it. It's child abuse in the lowest form and is unchallanged. If F4J make this there new target then i think you will be stuned by how many dads knock at your door. Well done Matt for all your efforts. I have followed your campaign for 5 years. I only hope people will listen

Great to hear from you Paul. Given they tried shutting our web site down last week I am minded of the quote that it is only when we rise, do we encounter opposition. With your support, we will prevail. Regards, Matt.

I am going through a very nasty divorce case myself -right at this moment it is going through the courts. I AGREE WITH FATHERS FOR JUSTICE. However, we need to recognise the increasing power and influence of CAFCASS in the residence and contact processes. We need to engage with CAFCASS and those who influence and train their officers intellectually, educationally and emotionally. F4J needs to try to get intellectual heavyweights speaking out in support and writing books etc.consistently. This protest movement needs to mature , otherwise it will hit a deadend.

Matt, I agree with your principles, but not with your groups activity. Are you not worried about people writing you off as a joke?

A joke? Humour merely sugar coats the bitter pill of secrecy and injustice. F4J truly is, a tragic comedy. If we can raise awareness, make people smile and make a difference for our kids, then ridicule, satire and subversion are our weapons of choice.

Matt, it's impossible for anyone who has not been in the courts to understand why F4J do what they do. I dont really understand what i can tell people about my time in courts(on going). I tottaly back F4J but think a change is needed in Campaigning. The goverment wont do anything or listen unless it starts to cost them money. As we all know they hate to even givaway a penny. It also breaks my heart that other fathers support groups have been dumbed down with goverment cash handouts to tow the line. F4J yes, i will always back you and am proud to be a member, why cant i tell people what is going on in my case? i would rather go to jail for making people aware than storming a Cafcass office. God bless Matt and his team, past and present

Matt, I'm not sure that humour is the best way to deal with such a sensitive subject. Like I said, I appreciate what you stand for and admit you talk alot of sense, but I'm just curious if you have ever thought the 'tight wearing' shennanigans have ever taken away from the issues. You haven't done any stunts like that recently... why?

If you look at our web site www.fathers-4-justice.org under latest news you'll see that the campaign is constantly evolving and regenerating. I've also been busy writing a book and other projects but as always, expect the unexpected. The 'tights' have never got in the way in that respect but they did chaff if you didn't use a good quality talcum powder. They also got people talking - for better or worse - and when faced with a secret court system that has more in common with Burma or North Korea, then that's quite an achievement.

having been through the court system, I have experienced first hand the bias and incompetence involved. The debate Matt raises is akin to the ignorance that leads to racism. Facts are available that debunk myths, indeed good practice is in its infancy but whilst laws are not upheld and the spirt of children's welfare is not upheld then there will always be the need for a campaign group to highlight injusctices.
